Short Biography: GORDY CURPHY is the president of Curphy Consulting Corporation (C3), a leadership and organizational change consulting firm with a clientele of major corporations. His work with C3 includes consulting to develop an organizational vision, align strategies in support of the vision, and identify and develop the talent and teams needed to realize the vision. Prior to starting his own company, Gordy was the vice president of Institutional Leadership for the Blandin Foundation where he was responsible for the design, delivery, and evaluation of comprehensive leadership and organizational development programs; a vice president and general manager for Personnel Decisions International (PDI); and on active duty in the United States Air Force. As a tenured associate professor at the Air Force Academy, Gordy coauthored the number one selling leadership textbook, Leadership: Enhancing the Lessons of Experience. A native of Two Harbors, MN, and a graduate of the United States Air Force Academy, Gordy also received an MA from St. Mary’s University in San Antonio, TX, and a PhD in industrial and organizational psychology from the University of Minnesota.
