Marion Peters Angelica
Short Biography: Marion Peters Angelica is president and founder of Convergences Inc., which provides services in conflict resolution and creative problem solving. She is an assistant professor at the Hamline University Graduate School in Nonprofit Management and adjunct professor for St. Mary?s College Graduate School of Education, where she teaches conflict resolution and creative thinking. She has more than two decades experience with the nonprofit sector as a director, board member, and consultant with organizations ranging from arts to regional planning to advocacy for retarded citizens. She has been a mediator for the Minnesota Department of Human Rights and other organizations, working in the areas of civil rights, juvenile justice, divorce, and community disputes. She holds a doctorate in conflict resolution at the Union Institute, Cincinnati, Ohio. Marion completed a fourteen-month tour as a visiting Fulbright scholar in Cyprus, where she worked to strengthen the nongovernmental sector and evaluate the effects of conflict resolution training held there.
